Spanish Peaks is a 5,700-acre private resort community located in Southwestern Montana, situated between the Big Sky Resort and the Yellowstone Club. Founded in 2004, Spanish Peaks is a master planned community of 902 potential residences and features recreational amenities including an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf championship golf course and ski access to the resorts of Big Sky and Moonlight Basin.
UDG served as the primary consultant for the institutional owner in directing the property’s acquisition from the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee, which occurred in July 2013. Following the property’s acquisition, UDG remained integrally involved with the project, including the assessment of a re-envisioned master plan, the analysis of appropriate future development programs, and the re-launch of the projects private golf and ski club through the introduction of Montage Hotels as its manager.
