Avanterra is a fully developed 103-acre site located in La Porte, Indiana, close to Lake Michigan and Harbor Country. In addition to over one mile of paved roadway and underground utilities, 60 acres has been set aside as a forest preserve with hiking trails for common use and there is a 1,824 SF home on the property. The existing property plat includes 23 home sites in an eco-friendly community of modern, green-living homes. UDG acquired the property in early 2018 at a significant discount of the roadway and utility improvements, and is presently considering use and marketing options to achieve the highest and best use for the site.
